Got home a little while ago. The UConn bus tried to pass me getting on the Delaware Memorial Bridge, but I didn't have the heart to let him in and just sped away, kinda like how our defensive let Delaware outrun us today. The only positives I could think of now that I've partially calmed down: -saw a bunch of UConn fans and was surrounded by many in K section, so we represented well (some guy was wearing the old derpy dog logo) -our offense can mostly move the ball except when it's 4&2 and the game is on the line -we beat 3 targeting penalties...the zebras really like to target us with targeting, would be nice to have some called in our favor -I can now delete and unsubscribe from every stupid email that Delaware wants to send -I don't have to hear anymore smartazz blue chicken fans calling our football a joke -my wife liked the lunch I packed for us I saw more heart in our team from 2 years ago. This defense lacks a leader, lacks a closeout mindset, and really needed to get a turnover today to help us. There was a dropped INT they could've had to take away some of Del's tempo. Delaware wanted the win more...I dunno what the hell our defense wants. Losing to the fruit last week made me ticked but eager to see a bounce back. Losing today made distraught and really worried for the rest of the season.
