By far the best defensive look we’ve thrown out there this year. Of course it helps when Wilson is defending like a mad man, but their stops led to a couple big runs.

Adams was great in his own right, but Whitt was killing him on the other end. I thought this lineup gave us a lot of separation.

Lets hope Wilson keeps bringing that same energy.

Imagine that lineup with a center who played D.

I though Carlton played a good game tonight.

He’s not a great athlete, his hands are unsure, and he doesn’t have great post moves. But he’s got a soft touch and I do think he’s been fighting harder on both ends lately. He’s inconsistent, but it’s not his fault that he’s the best center on the roster.

Helps when the other team goes 3/23 from 3. Some of that was forced, but you'd expect the opponent to at least get lucky a few more times.

They took some crazy looking threes. I guess those usually go in but not tonight.

47% inside too though, which is pretty bad itself. It looked like the 2016-2017 UConn squad that was so bad at shooting but got nothing inside either so they just hoisted.

Teams are definitely going to do better, but I’ll give the defense their due credit. SMU’s bigs kept getting swatted so their guards tried to do everything, but couldn’t.
