Defense ? From a diehard hoops fan

I've never lived in Ct so my interest in ffb program comes and goes and we all know it drives bus w realignment but the P and esp Diaco eras killed my interest.

Watched for first time today and thought the corners were fine playing the ball but seems like the defense is in prevent a lot. Or at least corners waaay off WRs. Is this how RE plays or is it the corners are awful? I thought the one guy made a ton of plays on the ball and the Owl WRs were average.

I hate playing conservative so I hope this isn't the way he coaches D. Playing not to lose = lose most times.

Again I watch very little so love to hear some insights here. Would love to get excited about UConn football again.

RE played his corners way off the ball during his first stint here. I went back and looked at Villanova's defense last year, and the corners were right up on the receivers almost all of the time. So I don't think that's Crocker.
