Defending the 3

Last week with Milton, tonight with White. Defend the 3 and these results from these past 2 games might look a lot different

It's the lack of IQ. How many possessions in the second half did we watch their best shooter who was hot left absolutely wide open. It was comical. Play a box and one if you have to but guard the guy. Why when we play a team like this with absolutely no inside big man to worry about we have guards that drop down to help and leave shooter open. You know Ollie is not coaching that. These players just don't have the smarts.
And Purvis and Brimah have truly gotten worse. What disappointing Senior campaigns.

Believe it or not UConn is actually 87th in the country at defending the three (Which isn't great but isn't horrible)

Might just be bad shooting by the other team. Even still you had to recognize the hot hand and our guys were clueless tonight.

Sure but having a top 20-30 ranking in this stat, it's almost impossible to suck.
