Why is the Temple game in Hartford? It seriously handicaps the student section. Unless if a student bought a bus ticket 6+ weeks ahead of time or moved in by the early afternoon on Friday, they're on their own. Bad time for an XL game, especially for a game that sets the tone for the rest of the season.

Complaint over.

Why the heck was UCF in Gampel over break and Temple is in Hartford this week? Is anyone thinking about the students let alone have common sense. I can see a weekend game in Hartford but the weeknight games have to be in Storrs during the semesters.

Everyone knows Gampel is a much better venue. But they play in Hartford because it's bigger and the school gets more revenue. We need a 20k arena on campus

It does make sense to play every game at the XL Center over winter break and then the vast majority at Gampel afterwards. I'd like to hear an explanation as to why this plan hasn't been adopted.

They should tear down Gampel and build a 20k arena or find a way to add 5k seats.

Have season tix at the XL and I'd like all my games to be on the weekend. And at least one good game in Bpt. The two exhibition games can be anywhere. The rest can be at Gampel unless it's Christmas break. Like going to the Garden for a game. Would like the conference tourney there too!

With the huge fees the XL center charges is there really that much more income the school nets?

Hartford is also where the votes are. Going back to when Tom Ritter was Speaker, Hartford games have helped UConn politically @ the Capitol.

I'd be all for this. Get all the games on campus and get a building that's not slowly falling apart. They panned the banners last night and it you could see the messed up tiles. Then HFD can help design a gigantic C at center court.
