The kid has completely allayed the concerns I had about him and his long term potential at the beginning of the year. He could have a big, big year next year. He's already a hell of a player, if he adds a little muscle and works on his handle he could be a monster.

Incidentally, his double double tonight was the first all year by a UConn player, which seems impossible.

He was fantastic. He's had excellent games this year, but tonight's was a breakout, on both ends of the court. He showed why he has, by far, the most potential on this team at the next level

Deandre was huge tonight! We played our hearts out but lost in the end in the final secs. We had our chances and that's all we can expect from this group at this point. Had Boatright passed Deandre the ball before end of the first OT, we could have won. It was very close. Deandre is growing up right before our eyes. He will be all-BE next season. He is playing with confidence and he played great D tonight.

He has a lot of talent and made some huge plays tonight both offensively, defensively, and on the boards. But, he also can be a black hole offensively, who is very turnover prone, and oddly the moment when he needed to take a contested shot he passed it up leading to a shot clock violation. If he gets a little stronger and improves the handle and mental side, he's a pro

Absolutely. The kid is a huge talent, he just needs to believe it. He's been getting more and more assertive all year, and that's a great sign.

If Deandre can keep hitting the 3 like has has the last few games, he's gonna be awesome.

If he makes the classic sophomore-to-junior leap, he could be unstoppable next year.
