Nice to see him back on the court. Although he's making less money than he did in Australia last year, he'll definitely have more visibility as it pertains to the Raptors front office.

FWIW, Raptors 905 is visiting the Westchester Knicks on January 22nd, so that's probably the best chance for CT people to see him.

very nice to see him return from his injury. Honestly he played decently his rookie year summer league, i remember an undiscovered hassan whiteside was on his team too.

Good to see deandre get back healthy. Hope he gets a call up.

Whiteside was never undiscovered. He was drafted 33 overall in 2010 and was a top 100 recruit out of HS. Averaged 13 pts, 9 rbs, 5 blocks as a freshman before leaving for nba. His talent and physical skills were always noticed it just took him time to put everything together. Who knows if he had things going on off court that kept him out if the league for few years
