Darius Adams is 6-4 with a 6-6 wingspan.

Jacob Furphy is 6-4.5 with a 6-6 wingspan

Braylon Mullins is 6-5 with 6-6 wingspan

Eric Reibe is 7-0 with 7-8 wingspan.

These were gleaned from the internet, so take them with a grain of salt especially the heights. But it does indicate a tendency. Dan likes players with long wingspans. Hopefully it will result in numerous deflections in the next few years.

it'll be a welcome change from our undersized lineup this year.

Adams', Furphy's and Mullin's are normal wing spans for a high D1 basketball player of their height. Nothing remarkable about any of them. Reibe is impressive.

The first 3 are not long wingspans relative to their height and I highly doubt the Reibe wingspan that you googled is accurate. Since it's you more than likely none of the listings that you posted are accurate.

Impressive wingspan is Jeremy Lamb being 6’4 with a 6’11 wingspan lol. Rudy Gay was also 6’7 with a 7’3 wingspsn. Sheesh man.

If Reibe’s wingspan is accurate he’d have longer arms than Clingan.

Darius Adams measurement is accurate but it's from the Nike Elite 100 two summers ago. Jacob Furphy measurement is accurate from Basketball Without Borders from a year ago. I don't see any measurement for Braylon Mullins other than AI saying he's 6'5 with a 6'10 wingspan which I don't believe. I don't see any wingspan for Reibe but 7'8 seems hard to believe.

@Palatine where did you get those measurements for Reibe and Mullins?

Unless the measurements are in Hilton units, I truly don't care. Although in the original Furphy thread from the fall/winter, I think he grew upwards of three inches, changed positions, and became a lottery pick. Impressive stuff.

Braylon's wingspan is actually 6'6" with the afro 6'10"

You know what they say about guys with big feet…

Good Lord, when does the season start again?

Clingan had a 7'-6.75" wingspan at the NBA Draft Combine and was the longest I saw in the last few years. So 7-8 for Reibe would be pretty impressive. I guess it's possible but I'd lean to that not being right.

100% agree - there is nothing unique about those wingspans. Solo has a incredible wingspan for his height, what stops him from using it how you'd hope is he's not that bouncy off the floor. I'm still not fully understanding of why Solo isn't more dynamic given his measurements. Maybe we see it next year.

A growth spurt is still possible at that age or is it over?
