We can complain about the ridiculous non call but this is why we lost. A complete no show on both ends of the court.

If he's the reason we lost today, then he's the reason we won against Memphis.
THAT IS TRUE but a player who is looking to make some money playing the game or a kid who is a competitive soul comes to play every night especially in BIG games

Like Bilas said at halftime "it"s a man's game inside tonight". DD has to decide he is going to fight harder for his team. Too soft tonight, needs to get consistent with his play.

If you're going to b'tch can you at least spell his name right.......neither his first nor last name is Daniel..... Anyways he clearly didn't play well and it so frustrating to watch a player not play well because of a mental block associated with foul trouble, but it happens to every player who has ever played this game. You can bet your ass it happened tonight to multiple pros. For DD the way the game was being officiated especially when he came back into the game didn't help. The refs had some bad early calls, then an atrocious call that set the building ablaze and so their idea to try and extinguish it and gain control again was by calling a foul every time our player made contact with the offensive player. Terrible night for the officials. Superjohn, this game will have no bearing on DD's first year contract. He will still be drafted based upon his potential to grow, how well he performs in draft camp, his measurables, and his overall body of work.

Unfortunately, he is pretty much the xfactor of this team. Napier has pretty much consistently played well and RB brings energy, though not always production, every night. That isn't enough to win against the better teams, though. This team won't go far unless it has a third player who can create his own shot. DD wasn't that person tonight.

I love Deandre but if this what is going to happen anytime he gets two quick fouls, that's a troubling sign. He needs to be not only physically but mentally tougher. Truth be told, he could benefit tremendously from one more year.

He isnt leaving early unless he wants to play overseas. Could he get paid, sure. I want him to get paid for the record and by an NBA team.

lol @ posters saying he won't be getting paid. go to bed.

I agree, he will be paid somewhere (D league, Euro, NBA).....A bunch of prisoner of the moment types totally forgetting what he did on Tuesday against Memphis..........He'll go off for 25 and 10 next game and they will be clamoring for him to go top 15 in the draft. Every one has bad games. He just needs to be more consistent with his game.....a fallacy of many young players......will he fix it by the end of the year???? who knows....But I've heard enough of the detractors and their hate-spewed gloom and doom based off a one game sample size.....

He blew 1 incredible dunk and never recovered
Totally agree. Missing that early slam dunk put him out of sorts. He became very quiet even after returning from the early two foul sitdown. He seems to be greatly affected by his early performance.

And sure the refs were bad but how many times was a missed shot rebounded by the Cards on both ends of the court. I was constantly yelling at the TV. Why in G-d's name can't we get a freaking rebound? I've never seen such a perfect storm of ineptness. We lack size, toughness, hustle, spacing, and box-out technique. Where will it come from? Coaching?

I WISH he was getting paid next year but I doubt it. Two years yes somewhere. I assume you meant in two years though, right?

Ollie misused DD today. Sat him in the 1st after 2 fouls, then buried him in the 2nd.
