I remember an interview with her parents (both veterans of the Iraq war) and her dad sort of shrugged his shoulders and said that since she was a young kid, she always wanted to play for UConn, as if that's just a dream for someone 5'5". Wow. What determination.

She just seemed to be under control, but not at the expense of sacrificing her trademark quickness and on the court moxie - I loved watching her.
