Refs needed to swallow their pride. Especially the one that made horrible calls all night. Biggest game of the year. Emotionally charged. Let Hurley blow off a little steam and make it a point to not be in Villanovas back pocket so much the rest of the game…

Hurley came off badly. Yes the calls right before were horrible but either he wanted to get tossed (possible) or he‘s not really a stable person (possible). But getting a double technical against the best FT shooting team you’ll ever play is not exactly helpful.

Hurley does need to keep his composure better, I think we all know that but he's being treated differently than other coaches. He needs to stop carrying on but you should never be kicked out of a game for turning to your crowd to fire them up. He needs to have a chat with the refs and with the Big East.

At the game, the crowd gave Hurley a massive reception during his exit off the court. Everyone with common sense knew that second tech was complete BS.
The crowd did not let up on the refs during the rest of the game, and rightfully so! The whole game all I kept thinking was if UConn loses this close, the refs aren't gonna have a fun time getting escorted out of Hartford tonight.
I can't wait to get a video of the team celebrating with Hurley in the locker room post-game. Kimani has some serious cajones calling a 3-pt play for Polley with 26 seconds left. Playing to win, I LOVE it. Fans were leaving the building down four with 26 sec left and Nova at the FT line. Sucks to be you!
