Structurally I think he's okay. We need to be careful and he shouldn't be on the court until he's 100% sure he's good."

RE Al: Trusting the surgeon and the procedure was the biggest mental hurdle for me, personally, to get over. Hes going to be sore anytime he takes that kind of hit and scared initially, but the fact that it is structurally intact means the surgery worked.

All that matters is that the shoulder surgery worked, this is good news. I remember Alterique running into some hellacious picks earlier in the season too, this can't happen anymore.

The update on Alterique seemed cautiously positive. I think if he sits on Thursday, you'd be smart to sit him Sunday too in a conceivably winnable game at home against ECU. We'll see how tomorrow goes.

The funniest part of these interviews with Dan are when he so badly wants to say "things will get better when more talented players get here" but he stops himself short and spends several seconds searching for a more politically correct answer.
