" Another factor in the success of UConn thus far? The re-emergence of Alterique Gilbert. The Atlanta native is putting up 13.1 points per game. This is a significant upgrade after he averaged just 9.0 last season in what was viewed by many as a lackluster sophomore year. "

Wtf? Lackluster sophomore year? He didn't even have a sophomore year, let alone a lackluster one!

I would call averaging 0 pts and 0 assists per game pretty lackluster for a D1 point guard. Glad Gilbert has stepped up his game this year!

Per my calculations, it's a #DIV/0 percent increase.

How would they have rated Ollie after year 2?

This is a what have you done for me lately business. So far, so good, would be a better rating for DH.

You have to admit averaging 13 more points a game this year is pretty impressive.

Who is this Jacob Matteson fellow? I like the cut of his jib.

Sneaky might read the boneyard too:

They were doomed. But along came a savior who was just 90 minutes away.

Cool but that whole paragraph about Alterique weirded me out. How can you compare his stats to anything else when in reality he basically hasn’t played for 2 years.

I don't get the negative comments, it was a very positive article about UCONN and Hurley

Hurley's such a stud. Guy has a lifetime of coaching education. Once we're a couple recruiting cycles in, look out

There would be no Boneyard if it was impossible for things to be positive for UConn and poorly-written at the same time.

College basketball writers know the Hurley name gets them clicks. There’s nothing new or all that good here.

That's good. Just keep getting positive clicks. High school kids are all abou that hype (Cal/K get plenty and it helps tremendously). Hurley might be building his own little piece of that...and he's got a head start with that name of his.
