Dan Campbell Lions coach

Such a reckless coaching style. I have never seen a coach pass up a game tying field goal late in 4th quarter of a playoff game. Then down 2 scores with a minute left, they run the ball, blow the timeout, meaning they need an onside kick.

Campbells style is great. When you’re trying to change a losing culture and rally a team.

When you get into a final four type situation, you’re coaching against the elites and that’s a dangerous approach. A smart man once told me you can’t fix a Swiss watch with a sledgehammer. Sometimes you need to have a more refined approach.

He should walk home. Up 24-10 after a SF FG in the 3rd he goes for it instead of kicking to go up 3 scores. Of course the cursed franchise blows it, and momentum changed right there.

Part of the thinking was that FG's from that distance outdoors are no gimme with their kicker.

At 24-10 I thought they should have kicked and just tried to hold serve. When they were down later, I didn't think they had a chance in the game unless they could grab the lead somehow. It felt like they might never get another chance unless they could turn the game somehow.
