My original post was about the degree of joy you get when you get a present on Christmas vs. a random unexpected day :) We don’t live in a vacuum, what others say and think about us matters. Bragging rights are a big part of fandom. We look forward to all types of rankings and argue about how some of them got it wrong, and take umbrage at the lack of respect.
