Should Natasha Howard get Most Improved Player consideration? If she stayed with Lynx she wouldn’t be getting this kind of opportunity and very possibly languishing on the pine another year.
Alisha Clark stats wise doesn’t look better but she sure seems like she’s a completely different player. I didn’t know she went to Belmont then Middle Tenn. Her senior year she led the nation with 28.3 ppg. Who would a thunk it with her labeled as a defensive specialist. No one year wonder either. The year before she was 27.8 ppg

Both are playing really well tonight. Sue just got T'd up for complaining - very briefly - that Diggins fouled her (she did). Sue was sick in the first half, now taking a beating.

And Stewie absolutely smokes Azura for 2 - announcer says, "Husky on Husky crime!"

Now Howard basically gets Barncastled by Cambage with an elbow - on review the refs only call a flagrant one.

She got another T tonight after the first one for clocking Howard, but somehow was still in the game - they must have changed their mind on one of them. She got ejected her last game with 2 T's.

Stewie is the clear leader for MVP.

Howard looks like the MIP to me. Not sure who is close.

There are still 10-12 games remaining, so things could change.

They need to find a way for Loyd to start making a few shots, not counting last night Jewell had been 68- 183 for a pct of .371 in the last 15 games. Seattle has been winning even with Jewell not playing up to par. That needs to change fast if Seattle wants a shot at winning the Title.
