D J Shoemate ?

Very disappointed in last nights offensive performance. Lyle McCombs was fine ( except for catching the ball out of backfield) and i think he is another in the line of very good running backs at UConn. Just wondering the story with Shoemate. He would have been a good change of pace last night. Also heard in preseason he was catching ball out of backfield very well. Is he still hurt ? From all indications he was supposed to be ready to go last night.

Supposedly still not 100% yet....I think Coach P said he was 90 something %.

Yes, P said he was not quite ready. Out of conference game, no sense getting him hurt.
