After watching last night’s South Carolina vs. Stanford game it became clear that the Gamecocks are currently ahead of the pack in Women’s Basketball. Before we sentence UConn to a #3, #4 or #5 Seed in the tournament let’s see what lies ahead. Below are the current records of teams in six major conferences. There are plenty of schools with impressive records. But, remember that these schools all still have to play each other. I didn’t include the Big East because I still believe that UConn has a team capable of running conference play without a loss. Let’s leave South Carolina as the overall Number 1 Seed. And, wait to see how the season pans out from there because I know that there will be plenty of upsets.
