I feel like this class is overlooked since the class ahead of them is just bonkers (Juju Watkins, Madison Booker, Hannah Hidalgo, Mikaylah Williams, Audi Crooks, etc.) but they're also making a case for being among the best classes ever. The level of production is off the charts:

Sarah Strong - standout on #1 undefeated UCONN, appears to be the runaway pick for National Player of the Year
Mikayla Blakes - 25 ppg on #5 Vanderbilt, right now appears to be a lock for 1st Team All American honors
Joyce Edwards - 21 ppg on #2 South Carolina
Jaloni Cambridge - 21 ppg for #14 Ohio State, very under the radar but shouldn't be
Ava Heiden - 16 ppg for #11 Iowa
Olivia Olson - 18 ppg for #8 Michigan
Jordan Lee - 15 ppg for #4 Texas
Syla Swords - 14 ppg for #8 Michigan
Tajianna Roberts - 12 ppg for #9 Louisville
Kennedy Blair - 13/7/6 for #15 Michigan State
Britt Prince - 18 ppg for #24 Nebraska
Toby Fournier - 17 ppg for Duke
Liv McGill - 23/5/5 for Florida
Avery Howell - 13 ppg for Washington

Players in bold are leading their teams in scoring. That's half of the top 10 and 8 of the top 15 are being led by sophomores. Right now only 2 of the top 15 teams in the country are being led in scoring by seniors.

The 2024 recruiting class was one where the recruiting “experts” came pretty close to nailing it with Strong, Cambridge and Edwards were about unanimous as the top 3 (in order) prospects. Blakes was also a top 10 ranked prospect.

LSU and Kim seemed ready to sell their souls for the top 3 and ended up getting none of them despite the money they reputedly offered. They ended up with a weak recruiting class by Kim’s standards ( though HG # 96 Jada Richard is a solid PG)

Honorable mention: Chit-Chat Wright at Iowa. Averaging 13 pts/4 assts while shooting 46/90/47. A portal homerun.
Loved her at Georgia Tech! Glad she's prospering at Iowa.

.-.
Liv McGill -- isn't she a Hopkins HS product? Did she get to play (however briefly) with Paige while there?

Mmmm, unless she played HS in 8th grade like Paige did. She was an 8th grader when Paige was a senior
