WTIC is reporting that in addition to Crocker at DC Edsall has found his defensive backs coach but I didn't catch the name. Anyone have info on that?

So is it safe to assume his recruiting area strength would be the mid Atlantic?
Makes sense bro.

We still need another secondary coach, no? I just dont see Cox handling CBs and Safeties all alone.

Seems like a good choice. Worked with Edsall at Maryland played in the NFL and has experience as a coach too.

My brother is a UMD alum who lives in DC...here is what he had to say about him when I asked him if he knew who he was:
I remember him as a player at MD. Great open field tackler. He was one of the best d-backs they had during their good run in the 2000s.

I like the fact he coached for Joe Moglia and was part of that staff down there.

Do you like Cox?

Yeah..if you read in this thread I have already posted that I do. I don't like the Crocker hire...not a fan of his 3-3-5 base D.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Liking the Benedict/Edsall choices for assistants. Hope the O-line coach is coming soon. I was disappointed at first with the Edsall hire as I thought UConn needed to bring in a "name". But you know what? It looks like they did and didn't have to break the bank doing it. Go Huskies!!
