Seasoned UConn fans will remember Martin as a recruit Calhoun strongly pursued following the Dream Season of 1989-90. Alas, Martin signed with Purdue and had a strong career there.
He'd have been perfect for the early JC era.

Certainly not, but the results may be a hell of a lot more promising and entertaining to watch I'd imagine than the current dumpster fire.

Obvious run of crystal ball picks on the Porter brothers, but also on Jeremiah Tilmon – a top 40 overall, high-4-star center who was committed to Illinois.

I'm not sure Martin's going to turn Mizzou into a power, but he certainly seems to be off to a good start.
