Here's where we started...
2021 WNBA Preseason Power Rankings.
At the break one article I read said the Sun had a hot streak, but that would probably fall back in the 2nd half. #DisrespeCT
The Sun have now swept the season series with SI's darling Aces.
Last night the Sun won a gut-check, rock-and-broken-beer-bottle fight with LA. So with just 7 games left, the Sun sits stop the league with at least a good shot at the double-bye.
One of the things I hate about this season is these 2 game sets with the same team. There was some serious bad blood on display at times. That will only build for tomorrow's game. No real cooling off period. I expect the refs to call a tighter game to keep the peace but who knows?
Anyway the Sun are exceeding all pre-season expectations all without Alyssa Thomas, arguably their best player in the playoffs. I'm loving my trips to the Arena these days (at least 12 out of 13 of them).
