Spoke with CT State Senator Derek Slap who is spearheading the legislation to allow for CT college athletes to collect money via endorsements - similar to the CA law. Also provides an update on where things stand on sports gambling legislation.

Clearly, any State that doesn’t follow CA’s lead will be at a disadvantage and Slap understands the urgency. I see the ability for 18 year old’s to hire agents spurring a search for the best likeness payouts in a sheer money grab. I’m not thrilled about that.
