Outside of the Heisman that's the biggest award in the game. From Stratford, CT. not recruited by anyone and becomes the best linebacker and defensive player in College football, that's unbelievable. Kid is a testament to hard work and passion.

Was there a worse hire in College Football during that same time? I don't think so.

I supported the hire until September of his first year against Vanderbilt. We were dominating them, moving their defensive line into their secondary ... 7 yards per rush. Then he abandons the run game and has a freshman throw three interceptions. And we lose a close game.
