Why didn't we recruit him?

Tell me about it. Our QB play would have been so much better.

Congrats to Tyler !

I can't remember anyone from BE or AAC football conferences getting a national award.

Says a lot about the player, out ranking P5 competition for the award

His game prep and stats are off the charts also an impressive leader on and off the field. Went to my high school where I too played linebacker so that makes it even more special.

One of the things that makes for a great linebacker is lateral quickness, good intincts and a nose for the ball which Tyler obviously has.

When you think of all the players in the country, TX, FL, CA, etc. for a kid from Stratford CT to get the award is awesome!

Congrats to the young man and look forward to seeing him on Sundays.

This was another example of Edsall's conspiracy to lead us down a path of destruction.

No one recruited him. It wasn't just us. 247 lists his only offers as Temple and Akron. Just a great story.

He's turning into the football version of Ryan Gomes. Good for him. Great to see CT football get some recognition even if he plays for another University.

One of my favorite players in recent memory. Kid lives and breathes football and turned that Temple program around, well deserved award.

RKG. He loves football as Diaco often talks about his players needing to do.
