The wins and losses seem like the most important thing in the world to us sometimes and this puts things into perspective but I’m really happy that our players have gotten to know this family. both have benefitted.

It was an emotional day for everyone in the room.

My vision for the day was sharing how selfless Aubrien was during her journey

and how Connecticut basketball can be so much bigger than wins and losses if we loved each other like Aubrien loved.

By the end, tears and hugs flowed and I believe UConn basketball is locked in to something greater than themselves

That was such a moving situation for everyone. I'll be happy when the day arrives that we won't see these type of moving stories. No child and their families should have to suffer these situations.

The way science is going these stories will become rarer and rarer.
