Creighton will play very much the same style that Providence did 2 weeks ago in Gampel in terms of their defense. They will have Kalkbrenner standing in the middle of the paint and probably try to top block the wings from getting passes from Hass. Tarris Reed Jr is the wild card. If he can make Kalkbrenner relive his nightmare 2 years ago of playing Sanogo that would be great. Plus, if he can do the "Jake Voshkuhl plays", as I like to call them, by exerting his physicality without fouling pin Kalkbrenner on his back UConn players drive to the basket so he can't rotate to help, it will go a long way for UConn.

Creighton is susceptible to ball pressure on their guards as this can cause turnovers and/or prevent them from getting into their offensive actions. Handling the Ashworth/Kalkbrenner PnR will be the key for UConn's defense.
