On offense Crazy Bob decided to run the offense he wants instead of building an offense around what we have.

He wants a power running game with a QB who can beat you with his arm and legs. Chandler has a little of both, Boyle has neither and Fox can run.

It never got better as the season went on.

He wants a power running game and had a true freshman starting on the oline. And a european starting who was on the dline until spring. More than half of the two deep were frosh, true frosh (3) or sophomores.

As the season went on, it went from atrocious to barely adequate with some glimmers of hope. They made a ton of progress.

He wants a power running game and gave the bulk of the carries to two true freshman.

I think RJ and AN (and JM) is a good stable of backs & they have talent.

There was no way this was going to work this year. None. Not with the type of players we have or have been recruiting.

The only question is: what will this offense look like with a real decent dual threat QB (if we get one), a seasoned offensive line (which we'll have) and talented & seasoned running backs?

The stuff we were running wasn't so complex that we shouldn't have expected better.

Good coaches can get bad players to play coherently. We didn't see that. Basically we saw these coaches teach these players how to lose.

We're in a bad spot in a lot of ways but my only hope is that Sherriffs or Davis (or a Juco) can step in and play.

A decent QB would make a huge difference. Not exactly earth shattering but we've seen it happen with Lorenzen in 2007. Yes we had brown and a great D but he was great in the beginning.

The line got better. A lot better.

We never got 1 inch better at QB

If that really was the plan, then it looks good on paper. But this team is Undisciplined. How many turnovers in the first possession.

Your grand plan is all well and good, but if you are missing the connective tissue like, discipline, simplicity, an actual depth chart etc. then the whole thing becomes jello.
