Courtside seats to UConn games now available

O.K. what high rollers on here are plunking down a bunch of cash to sit courtside? I sat courtside to one UConn game (at PC in the Dunk) and a lot of NBA games and I have to say that you get much more appreciation for the game when you sit that close. You realize what athletic freaks the players are at that size and how quick and strong the players are. It really is like watching another game when you're that close.

I often wondered how much it cost for courtside seats.
Wish I had the almost $14K to pay per seat.

I don't think it is 14K per seat. I think you need to be at least a $10,000 a year donor. Then the $2,500 is an extra per seat charge fee like football, then the tickets are only $150 per game.

That's better. Only $12,650/seat. Significantly less than $14,ooo.

... it's not a minimum of $10k donation for each seat - one you "qualify" at the donor level - each seat per game thereafter costs $2,650.

Apparently that's only for games in Hartford. I can only imagine what the donation would have to be for court side seats at Gampel.
