Williams believes the key to success is having one clear strength which sets her apart on-court.
“No player wants to be one-dimensional but at the same time you have to know your strengths and your weaknesses,” she said.
“I’m not going to go out in a game and shoot 50-million threes. Even though I can knock down a three, I know my strength is my pull-up.
“Until you can stop my pull-up or unless you bait me to shoot a three, I will play to my strengths. Do what you do well. That’s what people want you for.”
