I think the 2001 game in Knoxville where Abrosimova was injured is one of the most entertaining games I've ever watched, right up there with 2013 UConn/ND when the Irish won in triple OT. The 2002 Final Four and 2000 NC were absolute clinics by the Huskies and pretty solid teams from UT looked absolutely lost. The 1996 FF game in Charlotte was a nail biter and I was watching when Parker dunked in 07, which to me is a little overblown but stands out largely since it was the last meeting.

ND and Uconn have had some great contests but judging by the number of posts and threads, even the Irish haven't produced some of the feelings the LVs have with this announcement, even considering their diminished standings in the game. I don't think it will be the same even if UT manages to hang around with UConn but it will no doubt bring about a ton of media attention and national headlines.
