"According to Garren, Nelson-Ododa is not a back-to-the-basket post player. She is athletic, runs the court well and can shoot from the perimeter.
Garren expects opponents to put 6-2 or 6-3 defenders on her this season. The solution?
“You pull her out and she catches the ball at the free throw line, and she takes one dribble and no one can keep up with her,” Garren said. “Usually [6-4] kids, they’re bigger but they can’t move this well. Her touch and movement is great.”
