Damn, you can't help but root for Shabazz. Hope he can get this foot injury figured out and healed permanently.

Satirday

Is tomorrow Satire Day? Maybe the article was written by the Onion and Bazz will indeed be available?

Or maybe they spelled Satyr wrong and there's an orgy tomorrow in Cincy?

Not much surprise unfortunately. The kid gut checked it the entire second half and even though he was playing on one leg GT barely won.

This is the only break UConn has received this past year and it's a tty one!

Oh great. Now we're down to one ball handler on the team. Terrific. Pain/ Agony is - watching Niels and Omar bring the ball up the court.

The good news is, he had surgery on the same foot. His already shaky draft status just got shakier. Get the foot fixed in the offseason, lead us to great season next year, it's all good.

Potential silver lining: If Bazz can't go, it could give Boat an opportunity to play himself back into top form. It has been suggested that he may have some difficulty adjusting to not being the guy with the ball in his hands. Have to wait and see, but I hope that Bazz does not do anything that could hurt himself.

I'm just hoping you were trying to point out a silver lining and it just came out wrong. If not, this statement has nothing but being self centered stamped all over it.

SN is probably one of the ten most pivitol UConn players when one takes into consideration a player who propelled UConn's program in a positive direction. If JC feels CS was pivitol in starting UConn down the road of success, KO should consider SN's decision to remain with the program his pivitol player for UConn's success going forward. He should be considered the key player who bridged the two eras and gave the program a significant boost.

There is no way of knowing the future, but SN really helped stem the bleeding that took place this year with all the crud that's happened to UConn. To me any fan that wouldn't hope this kid gets an NBA contract this year, who can't feel the tragedy of the circumstances for SN first and foremost, is just someone who lacks empathy and is selfish.

It's all good. Maybe he has to red shirt for the next 2 years and comes back as a 26 year old beast....

Come on really?

Quite honestly Cincy's only consistency is defense. If Bazz does not play their ability to cut the head off the dragon is much easier.....will be interesting to see how Boat reacts to this challenge but I'm afraid our chances become weak w/o Bazz in this one!!

If no Napier boat needs to adapt to being floor general. pump the breaks alot more, reverse the ball. I could see Daniels having a huge game.

Triple double from RJ today? I'm feeling it. But if there is a stretch to have Napier hurt Cincy, USF, Providence is probably the best set to have it happen. Just hope he doesn't rush back, would suck if he messed something up long-term for 3 games.

Without Bazz we are USF.

I doubt this injury is significant enough to effect Napier's upcoming decision, but I don't think pointing out a potential silver lining after an injury has already occurred makes a poster a bad person, doing that post injury is not the same as rooting for someone to get injured.

RJ is no Napier, but I like his mean streek. He is not afraid to make contact. But hopefully Napier plays.
