COURANT SPORTS ALERT: UConn, banned for 2 additional years because Mark Emmert feels like it!!
In all seriousness, this is wonderful news I'm glad the University figured a way to fix its score and scam the system like 99% of the other univeristies playing Division 1 basketball. The aPR will be gone once a few more programs are banned, as more and more folks will educate themselves on the idiocy of it and public support will be elimated eventually.
well with some 300 schools and 13 players per team, that's like 13 scores a day for them to go through. that's a little much to ask isn't it? /sThis is not actual "news". We've known that our 2011 score was 978 for quite a long time now. We basically already know that our 2012 score will also be in the 978 range. What's disturbing is the fact that it takes the NCAA until June of 2012 to release the scores for the school year that ended a full year ago.
Good for Lamb for completely the year in good standing.

What I don't understand is why the NCAA pretends that it's important for players to finish out the semester when they are declaring for the draft. It's like when you're already into college during your senior year of high school. Most people shut it down.
Anyway, good for Lamb.
Ah, I totally missed that! Went right over my head!I'm pretty sure the "/s" in his post denoted "sarcasm", but yes, that is the implication. A trained monkey with Excel could do this in an afternoon.
Actually, I do get this. Otherwise a Freshman could play all year and never be a student. If you are going to play, you need to finish up the year as a student. Glad Jeremy did the right thing for himself and the school.
