Yep, it was definitely the quarterfinals. Me and a friend were at the bar the night before and tickets were dirt cheap on Stubuhb. We almost bought a pair, but then convinced ourselves UConn was going to lose anyway so why bother taking the train down to NYC. I will always regret that one...

I took a late lunch and watched it from the bar at Thali Too in New Haven. I think there were maybe a half dozen people still in the restaurant and I horrified them when I started going crazy.

Unintentional mistake, but its March and UConn meaning true madness. Further down in the article:
