As noted in another thread, DT, Sue and Angel are nicked up. Since this is probably our starting backcourt, plus a key reserve who can play the two, it's a concern. I assume roster changes are no longer allowed, so all we can do is wait and see how things go in the exhibition vs. Brazil next week.

I guess it would not hurt too much if any of the above players missed one or more games before the Medal Rounds.. Going "big" with Catch or Swin at the two is not exactly a desperate move.

I'm not sure when the rosters are final, but it must be fairly soon.

Anyone else other than T-Gal going to London?

Have they announced any reserves yet, and does anyone else besides me think that Kara Lawson is a MUST for this??!

No announcement. I think they announce it only if needed and if before the (unknown to us) deadline.

I just think that Kara has to be on this team, she is having an amazing year, playing with a lot of confidence and focus, and is as fit as I've ever seen her...

Kara is 5th in the league in FG % and the only guard in the top 8. This may be her best season.

Absolutely agree Kara Lawson should be an alternate.

So looking forward to the Olympics. Unlike four years ago when my family was on the "Great American College Tour" trip, I will be able to watch a fair amount of the coverage. The Olympics had the decency to schedule them to complete before the semi-annual trip to Atlanta to take "the boy" back to school.

I plan on catching as much of it as I possibly can, especially the women's basketball. My employer will just have to understand if I have the game streaming in the background while I do my work. Or, maybe I can catch it on my cell phone? So many options this year!
