how far ahead is this decided? I would be a bit surprised if the draw is made up with TV coverage in mind.

I'm not sure how it is now, but back when TBS/TNT/TruTV were first added to the NCAA broadcast in 2011 they announced the Final 4/Title game channels for the next decade or so at that time.

We lost to them by 2 sure. But we were down 7 and it took some miraculous plays by Liam to make it that close including a prayer 3 at the buzzer. On paper maybe a 2 point loss, but...

We got the draw we deserved (losses to SHU and Colorado). We had a solid season, especially given what we lost. Congrats to Florida. Well deserved. Great NC game.

Now on to next season. Let's finish cleaning up in the portal and see what happens when they roll the ball out...

I don’t know about the channels but I think that is set long before the game is scheduled. You can probably find the 2027 game site if you look hard enough.

Last nights game was really similar to the UConn game I thought. Houston had multiple chances to pull away but couldn’t make a shot. That opened the door for Florida to come back late and they did. Houston had a huge chance and couldn’t get a shot off with 19 seconds to go was pretty shocking. Yikes!

I mean, we all watched the game. We led most of the second half and were up 3 at the last media timeout. Had a bad stretch to fall behind, but it was tied with 1:45 left.

If we lost by 7 it would have been the classic “much closer than the final score indicates”game.

The game seemed close but then we put them in the freezer at the end of the game.

Florida did “put us away” like superior teams do.

But that being said, we did give away the chance to win that game. Solo’s turnover when we were up by 3 w just over a minute was first nail in the coffin.

You seem to be saying that UConn choked. I'm not. They played a great game, but lost.

Rationalize all you want, but a loss is still a loss by any definition.
