Defense will not be the issue. Good to see good play from the secondary. Now if only I came away as confident about our O.

Defense will be an issue with the aggressive style they play. Losing 2 inside guys will hurt vs the run. Concerned still with teams that can throw the ball. we'll see what happens during the season. Another year in the system helps, can't wait to see it.

I actually think there is quite a bit of depth on D. We had the depth along the front last season, now it looks like there is solid depth at LB and the secondary.

The defense returns 9 starters, and the 2 new starters have both been in the rotation for two years prior to this one. If we have the new system down, they should be very, very good.

Aside from passes to Phillips, the receptions I recall were to the flat, short middle, and a big gainer on a cross. I liked what I saw from the corners. Both the safeties and corners showed good ball skills - great play by Lee on the 50-50 ball.

DB's looked OK, nobody really open deep. LB's stuggled on the few big completions, especially Sio on the last TD.
