Cord cutting continues

ESPN has lost 2 million subscribers this year. With the conference media rights up for renegotiation in a few years this is bound to have an impact. I wonder if more games will return to OTA medium or will the big social media companies make a bid for online-mobile viewing options?

I get my fill of baseball on regional sports networks (YES, SNY, NESN) and MLB Network. I get my football on NFL Network or the local channels. I get my UConn primarily on SNY/CBSSN. If I watch ESPN, it's only because the Pats/Yanks/UConn are on it. I couldn't possibly care less about the NBA, supporting ESPN's hand-picked college favorites, or watching a bunch of dopes screaming at each other for 30 minutes.

I cut my cord years ago as I can no longer justify the high subscription fees. I installed an over the air antenna and will watch the games that are on network TV.
