I have Fios and Comcast and loads of options, which drives down prices. Believe me once Verizon runs fiber to your door, they want that investment back. My best friend in a different town in suburban Boston has just Charter, because Shrewsbury gave them a town wide monopoly. His options suck, and cord cutting is cheaper for him.
