Think we've blown off enough steam about the poor offense Saturday. Lets hope it was a one-time thing. Would love to see some of this going forward:
1) Use of Lorenzo/Williams as changeup back.
2) more play action - screens, bootlegs, etc. Apart from 2 trip-and-falls CW does have decent footwork
3) simplified game plan. Not saying NO wildcat, but be judicious. A little less helter-skelter tempo would be an improvement.
4) More throws to tight ends, especially Griffin. seems like we threw that part of game out after Delahunt fumble. he deserves 2nd chance
5) in a perfect world the goal would be to shorten the game (like Giants in Super Bowl v. Bills) We don't think we have that kind of power O but if we can get into a rhythm using clock take advantage especially if we get a lead. Easier said than done but clock management is going to be especially crucial with a dominant D and developing O.
