Connecticut to be the Sports TV Capital of America

So ESPN is already based in Connecticut...the clear leader in Sports TV and programming. Word is that Versus is being turned into 'NBC Sports' and NBC is going to invest big in it and go hard after ESPN. Well, according to the below report, the word is that NBC Sports is looking to base their operations in Stamford, CT.

So you are going to have Connecticut be the epicenter of all sports programming....and have the state University be left out of the major conferences?!
