And it made me realize that Chris Drury's performance against Taiwan was almost 25 years ago.

Sigh. I feel old.

Not bad for the #3 starter. Does anyone know the format, if Fairfield beats the California team tomorrow, what's next?

They would play the loser of Tennessee and Texas.

Congrats on the win. I don't think my small town was quite ready for the big lights. They were dominate in their previous six games leading up to the LLWS. Its simply a lack of playing against high talent out here. Good luck to you the rest of the way and...oh yeah, Go Huskies.

That was pretty awesome. they also showed a stat that Connecticut is 2nd or 3rd all time in LLWS championships, and it's the 3rd smallest state (or something like that). congrats to the kids and great for the community!
