They didn't care about sports at least from the mid 2000s to the mid 2010s. I think we beat them in every sport every time we played them. Then they started recruiting again after I graduated from a local school and now they're good again
Same with the mid 90s to early 2000s, although my one good friend who went to SBs played hockey, and most other schools in southeastern CT didn’t have a team.
St. Bernard's has produced a few good ones. Harold Pressley for one.

We (E.O.Smith) ran against them in cross country in 1978
We played them at the Ocean Beach (New London) pavillion in the mid 60s. Pretty sure they built a new school further up Rt32 toward Norwich.
