I would assume that Geno is extremely happy that Tonya Cardozo is co-coach of the year with him. His greatness continues through those whose achievements in life are, in no small part, due to having him as their mentor.

I was a tad surprised, in light of UConn's season. But congratulations to Tonya for her good work as well. Hard to argue with this outcome.
