Congrats to Tina and the Sun

Tina's record-setting career just warming up (John A's blog). The Sun looked strong against a DeSouza-less Deam . Another night of balenced scoring. AJ looked strong and confident. Kara is playing as good as I have ever seen her.

Charles' newest weapon, a left-handed hook, had the crowd buzzing.

"I've had that since college," Charles said. "Christine Dailey [the UConn associate coach] would always yell at me because she believed in my left hand. I believe in it and the more I practice it, the better off, the more confidence I'll have, to use it in a game."

In all my years of following UConn women's basketball, I have never heard CD called "Christine!" That jumped off the page at me when I read it in the paper.

In the final Geno show in 2011, I think Maya also called her Christine. And also CD.
