Anyway AJ (and team) held SGA to 21 points on 8-24 shooting. SGA is a top 5 player! Sure he had help, but as the primary defender he 'shut him down'. To me this shows that AJ has arrived, and now is an elite defender opposing teams will be scouting.

UConn fans know all too well that AJ scoring is not a threat to defenders its always about the other stuff which he is great at and Doc Rivers (the Vet) sees what we've seen!

Much easier to hide his offensive woes in the NBA where it’s mostly iso ball. He has been good from 3 this season though. His defense is elite elite elite

honestly I think driving and finishing is his biggest hindrance. With his size, handle, and athleticism he should be a way better driver and finisher in the lane then he is.
