Used his time outs great. Got on them when they got a little boneheaded, and had them controlling the tempo when it mattered.

He might have the itch, but who was the last college coach to even remotely "make it"? Mike Montgomery? it's a different game and money is the great equalizer. You cannot only make a good living as a college coach, but some can top their pro counter parts. I hope Brad Stevens succeeds for my favorite pro team, but it took about $7 mil for him to try.

You're probably right about that. He had the boys ready to go from the start.

Also liked how he ripped into Nolan after his tech (and rightfully so), but a few minutes later was the first to congratulate him for making a good play with a pat on the head.
