You are No. 112 in the country according to the respected Orlando Sentinel preseason national college ratings.

Looked at another way, you are No. 2 in the nation among "power conference" teams, exceeded only by No. 118 Colorado. No. 2 worst. Takes a lot of effort to reach those heights at The Heights.

That combined with your wonderful record of churning out NFL talent while your AD worked diligently to secure status as "New England's college team" is testimony to the last decade of progress and establishing your brand nationally.

Well done!

Hmm. I didn't know they were in Conference USA. They really have fallen on hard times. How did they get so much influence in the ACC, they were able to keep us out?

GDF ducked that athletic department like nobody else possibly could. He may have been the most incompetent boob to every hold such a position at a major college.

That said, the basketball program may make a serious run at an NIT bid next season...........and that's enormous progress for perspective.

And every single boneyarder would exchange places with them in a heart beat. FSU, Clemson, UVA, UNC, Syr, Pitt, etc at alumni. At the Rent: SMU, Tulsa, Memphis, ECU, UCF, hoooston. Yea, Mich, and Tenn but we won't see much of that in future I predict. Maybe Boise types?

Yeah but the Rent will still be the better place to be if (and I know its a big if) we are winning our games and BC is losing their games. You could schedule Bama, LSU and USC at the Rent every year and I promise those games will quickly lose their appeal if we were watching our team get whipped, and there is nothing wrong with "Boise types". I wish more games were "Boise types".

Don't be stupid. BCU would change places with UConn in a heartbeat.

Tons of national championships, heck we even had a BCS Bowl game, they have never had one.

They came close, but that only matters in horseshoes and hand grenades.

It's actually quite laughable that CU and BCU are the lowest two BCS teams. Because there are some freaking awful schools in BCS leagues. Duke anyone? Washington State?

Trade conferences with bcu? Definitely. But trade "places" with bcu? No way. That would mean being a cellar dwelling tshow of an athletic dept. no thanks.
