He's a good fan. It's been awhile since 86. That's a long time to go. So, good for him. That was some old school BE ball out there.

I agree. Congrats senore! You have been nothing but classy. I'm certain the only reason you haven't responded to this thread already is you are still celebrating and unable to read it.

Yeah, let me jump on this bandwagon as well. I have to say I did root against 'ville getting #3 and Pitino getting #2 but they were well deserved.

Congratulations Senore

..and congrats to ville, you are still annoying cockblockers though- just saying.

Definitely the classiest opposing team fan I've seen on this board. Congrats.

Dam, are you guys setting me up?? :)

I have just one thing to say.................WINNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet you know what I'm sayin', lol. You guys made my week. Yeah, I missed it because I've been watching the same game for a while now on an endless loop. I scoured the page the day after but I reckon it had moved to Page 2. I got a reminder from the dogbreath2 man. And - hey - Thanks!

Congrats senore, enjoy it! You guys were playing your best ball at the end of the year and clearly deserve the title. It's fun to watch a team play with such relentless energy, even when you are down big everyone always knows a run is coming. Wondering what your thoughts are on next year with Siva, Smith and pretty sure Dieng are all gone?

It amazed me how no lead was safe with against that team.

Senore - congrats as well. Not being in the tournament, it was at least fun to watch the Cardinals play and win the thing.

Belated congrats. You are an asset to this site. Your team was fun to watch. Glad Siva is finally gone. What do you think of his pro prospects?

I think Siva's pro prospects are OK. He is still faster and more explosive than almost anyone I've ever seen play the game. I believe that, if he developed his shot better (which sucks), he could have a long career in the League. His ball handling is impeccable, his defense is scrappy enough and Lord knows he's still the ex football player who is tougher than anyone can believe. It will depend on his shooting, in the end. His decision-making is already close, having matured nicely and right on time, 3-4 years late, lol. :) His physical gifts are off the charts, though and made watching him truly fascinating. He was never boring. I also think Smith can and will return. I love our chances next season, either way. We'd miss Dieng but it would give harrell the minutes which Behanen may not as easily give up this season. Chane played distracted last year for whatever reasons but regrouped nicely and I believe matured into the player we'll see coming up. We have Hancock, Ware, Blackshear (also due for an uptick in game), Behanen, Van Treese and probably Russ all coming back with the #3 recruiting class and Juco POY Chris Jones (PG) coming in. An outlier is Mangok Maithing (yes, 'my thing', lol, and yes, some good jokes there :)) who is taller and built like Dieng and will get minutes if for no other reason, to develop. If Russ doesn't return, it will help that Terry Rozier and Anton Gill are firing shots as freshmen, both of whom had 50 point nights at Hargrave this year. I'm bullish on us.

Way too much talent on that team. Our stick figure front court could use one of your forwards. We'll trade you Olander (who has some raw rapping talent) for Blackshear or Hancock. Okay, Behanen if you insist. I don't want to hear that Smith is coming back.

Let me say first that, as a message board poster my job is to look so good on paper I can convince the entire galaxy that there is no use in putting on opposing uniforms, next season. :) Then I win see? I learn from our neighbors, the UK fans who fan out in semi-literate droves, debunking our chances and our program so resolutely while we wait to tear them another new ass in a football game which can't come soon enough. Which reminds me.............lol, don't we owe you one too? God, I was there last year. That one hurteded.
